This Week In INXS History

Saturday, July 13, 1991

INXS played their legendary sold-out show at Wembley Stadium to 72,000 adoring fans. The show was immortalized in the film and album, Live Baby Live. From Kirk Pengilly's diary:

Saturday, July 13, 1991: Wembley. WHOOAAH!! Massive. So cloudy but didn’t rain. Quite a bit of nervous tension in the change room but everyone in great moods. On stage at about 8:45. A few technical problems but overall a FANTASTIC show. It went very quickly. Audience was amazing.
