TIRSG: Remote Sensing and GIS Technology Enhancement

Before May 31, 2021, all proposals must be submitted. Given the project's relevance to IIRSG's current and future initiatives, IIRSG will provide financial support for research. 

“We encourage research proposals in the fields of launch vehicle technology, satellite technology, ground-based systems, and space sciences. Faculty from IIRSG associated colleges or approved research centres can send proposals. The participation of IIRSG scientists, starting with the formulation of proposals, has been found to assist in the successful completion of projects. As a consequence, prior to submission, contact with IIRSG-REC members is required.”

“Proposals prepared in conjunction with the IIRSG-REC will be given priority. Evaluation of proposals at two to three points, as well as consultation with potential investigators, are all part of the final selection process. The research proposals submitted in response to this invitation will be reviewed by an IIRSG-Research Ethics Committee as a first step (REC), and proposals that have been shortlisted will be called in for a detailed presentation,”
