Summary: Most Texans said they do not believe state leaders in Austin are serving them well, according to a new poll by the University of Texas at Austin/Texas Politics Project.

Summary: "Water planners in Parker and Palo Pinto counties took a preliminary step Wednesday toward a partnership that will speak up louder than either can alone... [TX House Representative Glenn] Rogers recommended that he file a 'shell bill' now and fill in the details later."

Summary: Sens. John Cornyn and Ted Cruz took opposing positions on a $1.7 trillion-dollar federal spending bill that divided Republicans in Congress.

List of the On-Campus Votes in the 2022 Texas Governor Race

Summary: Texas has 11 Division 1-A universities, the largest in the state, and their student populations lean heavily Democratic. Results of on-campus precincts at each of the 11 show Democratic candidate for governor Beto O'Rourke won all but two of those campuses.

TX 2020 Election Audit Completed

Summary: "The full 359-page report found that most Texas counties appear to have properly followed election law in the 2020 election, but "in some cases ... they did not... While Tarrant County ran a 'quality, transparent election' and Collin County 'proved to be the model of how to run elections in Texas,' Dallas and Harris counties reportedly fell short."

Drainage Improvement Project

Summary: The Stormwater Drainage Improvement Project in Willow Park has started the implementation phase with a contract bid awarded for improvements to the Pleasant Ridge culvert crossing near El Chico, regrading of an earthen channel from Sam Bass Road to Squaw Creek Road, and improvements in the channel along the eastern city limits flowing to El Chico.

Rogers: Water is Life

Summary: "For several years, Parker County has been among the top counties for drilling new [water] wells. On average, counties drill less than 50 wells per year. In 2017, Parker drilled 600. In 2021, the county drilled 1,154; that number led the state by a substantial margin.

Starting 16 December 2022, Willow Park Police are implementing their Impaired Driving Mobilization Program on I20 through Willow Park, including access roads and U-turns. Drink. Drive. Go To Jail.
