Hello Friends, (Yay - 2020 is almost over!!)
Because of the Pandemic, holidays are a challenge! Perhaps we should employ some of our favorite holiday traditions in an effort to make holidays seem special to our small bubbles. I’m thankful I have artwork, to keep me occupied during these times. I also enjoy this opportunity to share my creations with you.
Two of my paintings are displayed at G B Studio and Art Gallery in Clatskanie, OR. and I’m very excited about it. The pieces will be on display until the middle of January 2021. Their website is https://www.gbstudio.gallery.
I am currently painting Christmas gifts for my grandchildren. The piece below was done for a grandson who just began hunting. The painting is titled “Change of Plans.” Although I’m not a fan of hunting, I don’t want the painting to cause nightmares, so I made up the following story about it; The bear was going after the elk; but once it sees the hunter, it may change its plans. Hopefully it will head back into the forest. The hunter planned to shoot the elk, but when he sees the bear there will be a change of plans.
