Happy October and Happy Fall!!
First of all, Happy New Year 🎊 🎈 and Shana Tova 🍎 🍯 to those who celebrated the Jewish Holidays. I had some fun making a little New Year's video on YouTube back in September. Feel free to check that out here!
Second, summer (the best season) is officially over and fall has begun! Since it is the ~spooky~ season 👻 🎃, I want to know what your favorite season is! Every newsletter you can find a poll to take and at the next newsletter you will find out the results!
Third, WOW! I am so excited that this my first ever Newsletter! Thank you so much for subscribing and embarking on this journey with me. I can't believe we are starting our own little community and I can't wait to grow alongside all of you.
I started this blog in a moment of personal crisis and that is when I wrote my first blog post. That post allowed me to process a lot of what is going on and it helped me voice what the world has been like for me. Finding different outlets has allowed me to process the world through different lenses. That lense might be YouTube, the blog, this newsletter, working out, reading, or just going on my daily walk. Looking at the world through this newsletter will be different but, good different. I am excited to create content but, I am also excited for everyone to learn about what other people like, hate, love, or what have you through the poll. Connection is important now more than ever and maybe whatever this is can become that.
Soon after my first post, more "Breaking News" events occurred (every week there is breaking news...ANYWAY..). I was inspired to write "Is 2020 to Blame?" because of some recent events like the passing of the remarkable Ruth Bader Ginsburg. From there, I was inspired to apply to be a poll worker because I can be an activist in small ways. I keep reminding myself that activism isn't supposed to be this big flashy thing, it can just be the small things we do and how we spend our time. If you want more information about the upcoming election please go to vote.org.
Here is to this new beginning and I can't wait to see what the future holds!
'Til next time,
...alex is out
P.S. Thank you for reading this and if this brought a smile to your day, feel free to forward it on and help our community grow!
