Here is a recap on service offerings and upcoming events from Piedmont Music Therapy. We continue to connect, play & grow with individuals of all ages & abilities in the greater Charlotte Area.

Music Therapy Appointment Availability Tuesday & Wednesday mornings are available for new child or adult clients. Intake information & costs are available online.

Family & Friends Fund Reopens

 
The Family & Friends Fund was established in order to share the powerful gift of music therapy for those who may not be able to afford access to treatment services.
 
The available grant may be applied towards a new or previous client for weekly music therapy appointments following an assessment for up to 3 months: 12 consecutive weeks through Piedmont Music Therapy (PMT). Priority will be clients age 18+ due to limited grant opportunities for adults with disabilities and conditions.
 
The application period is rolling, based upon available funds. Piedmont Music Therapy is grateful to a local family for their support of this fund. If interested in sustaining this community resource, please contact us!

Save the Date - Fall Recital

The call time will be 1:40pm on Saturday, November 4, 2023 in Charlotte, NC. More details to follow for performers over the next few weeks.
 
PMT is still seeking a PA System or volunteer willing to monitor their PA System. If you are willing to help with this need, please contact us.

Educational Programs

PMT is proud to be an Education Provider through Arts & Science Council in Charlotte, North Carolina. If you are an ASCAR interested in receiving a recording of PMT's School Funding Opportunity Info. Session, please reply back us so we can forward the content. 

 
PMT is included on the Arts Directory through the South Carolina Arts Commission. We are looking forward to the new year for local schools in the Midlands and Upstate!

Staff attended a presentation of "Music and Mind" hosted by Renee Fleming at Queens University of Charlotte last month then enjoyed dinner together! 

PMT will attend this weekend's NAMI Walk at Cherry Park in Rock Hill, SC. It will be on Saturday, October 7th at 9:00am. Make plans to join a NAMI Walks near you! #mentalhealth #stigma #child #adult #access #mentalhealthcare #resource #community #support #nonprofit #grassroots #namiwalks
