UPDATE ON WATER PLANT PROJECT -- On Saturday, January 21, 2023, a regular Board meeeting of the Directors will be held in the Rec Hall at 1:00 PM. We are asking that any member who is able to attend, please do so. As everyone is aware, the water plant is currently being refurbished with new pumps, motors, piping, filters, etc. As part of this process, the contractor, Book and Proch, is testing the existing wells that supply water to the campground. During their inspection and testing of the three (3) wells, a few significant issues have been found. The issues will be presented, in detail, to the membership during the meeting. We will be asking for member input on how to proceed as this will affect all of us. While the status of the water plant revitalization project is still the same and expected to complete by March 31, 2023, the well issues could cause delays that were previously unknown. The information gathered is required as part of the DEP process for permitting. This will be a separate project that we hope to run in conjunction with the water plant work. We implore you to attend and help solve a major issue that may threaten the coming season.
