Shipmates Corner & Updates

Membership

It appears the Vietnam Era shipmates are not joining either due to not knowing about us or not having an interest. We need to promote our association and our website to attract more members.

Dues

We currently have 44 members that are past due. 71% of our membership is up to date. HELP!

DOZ-R-DUE!  Please check to see if you have paid your 2022 DUES. You can check them online or contact Noel or me.  To check them online go to the membership directory and check to see if they are paid (those of you receiving a paper newsletter, your expiration date is on your address label).

Help! I have not received any stories or jokes from you guys. Your stories have been great and add value to our newsletter.

Thomas Linn join since the last news letter.  He was onboard 1968 and was in Supply Division.  His contact information is on the website in the Members Directory.  If you do not have access to to the website contact Noel or me for his information.

Binnacle List

John Ward reports his back is doing better, however he finds it is tough plowing the back 40.

Doug Skinner had to go in for emergency appendix surgery. I am reporting he is still kicking and causing trouble. The doctor has to go back in again and clean up some cancer. We will be praying for Doug and especially for the doctors and nurses.

Wishing all a speedy recovery. After all we can't have Doug missing our next reunion; can we?

Please continue to send in your REMEMBER WHEN Pictures and anything else you would like to share, I am sure the crew would love to hear your stores or comments.
