Another year, another lockdown! I hope my first newsletter of the year finds you safe and healthy.

Although 2021 has begun with the continuation of the uncertainty and challenges of recent times, with the steady progress of the vaccine rollout, we may finally have something to really look forward to with confidence: 'The successful return of travel'.

And as we start to look ahead and seek some inspiration about where we may like to create some memorable times, catching up with loved ones again, you may well have noticed that I have finally launched my own little corner of the internet with my brand new website.

There are some fantastic ideas to whet your appetite. Have a good look around  - your comments and feedback are always important to me and appreciated.

I am also hugely proud and excited this month to be celebrating my 15th anniversary with Holidaysplease, who has again just been shortlisted for Online Travel Agency of the Year by industry publication TTG.

To be recognised for the hard work and dedication to customer service that we endeavour to serve up to clients, especially over the last year, is hugely appreciated.

If you're thinking about getting away soon, please be mindful that because so many people were forced to move their holidays from 2020, availability for some places later this year, and beyond, is already limited.

It may be wise to get ahead of the game and secure your holidays on a fully flexible basis for late 2021, 2022 and even 2023, to ensure you don’t miss the opportunity to escape the UK.
