Dear Jackson County Republicans,
During the Memorial Day Cookout held at the Barkers Creek Community Center, Charles Elders was honored with a Lifetime Community Service Award for his selfless dedication to Jackson County for many, many years as our county commissioner. Sheriff Doug Farmer, NC Senator Kevin Corbin, Danny Keever, and many others provided testimonies to the positive impact Charles has made to the community and how he has personally helped each of them.
A special thanks goes out to Beth James for coordinating the event and making it special for Charles and his family. Jeff and Patsy Gunter's hospitality with hosting the meeting place was unrivaled.
