Keeping Communication Lines Open thanks to Serviam!

The art of communication is the language of leadership. – James Humes

A little over 2 years ago, the world stopped, in person meetings were cancelled and events postponed. The Black Achievers Society had to pivot our plans to keep fulfilling our mission in the midst of a pandemic. Thanks to Serviam’s sponsorship of our Zoom subscriptions, our communication lines stayed open! The Black Achievers were able to continue to host meetings, present Webinars for professional development, host events, gatherings with our scholarship recipients, etc. VIRTUALLY! Without this tool our mission would have come to a halt until we were able to meet again in person, yet through Serviam’s support our organization has been able to endure through the pandemic. Thank you Serviam!

“Serviam is Latin for “I will serve,” and our value and motto are rooted in this definition to fill a critical service gap in Telecommunications and I.T. Vendor Management. We are constructed to be an extension of your internal team to provide you with business-tailored ongoing support, adequate guidance, and services that vendors aren’t built to offer. Our methodology guides you to a digital transformation that aligns procurement and leadership, and we work to reduce your expenses, negotiate contracts, and provide project management support. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve our clients every day and look forward to how we can best serve you.

"We support BAS for a number of reasons, but one of the biggest is we believe in the need to support our best and brightest that may not have the opportunity to maximize their potential without a little boost, and we believe that the drive for that has to come from within the community. BAS does a great job of building leaders in the community, helping kids to reach their potential and hopefully to bring them back into the organization so we can have a continuously increasing group providing leadership and increasing impact."
