MVS ON THE (VIRTUAL) ROAD AHEAD

Greetings to all from beautiful Tucson where the heat has broken with the arrival of Fall.

I continue to be safe at home, enjoying the wealth of continuing education options available to everyone, from MoMA’s “Seeing Through Photographs” course to the artist studio visits and curatorial conversations so many of our non-profit organizations are bring to our homes and studios (watch my Instagram for news on what’s coming up). I’m bringing my latest research on our ‘new normal’ paths to present your work to key industry players during a pandemic to all of you through webinars, too.

Happy fall, everyone!  Stay well and stay creative,

 Mary Virginia

There are multiple opportunities to attend my seminars this week:

THIS SATURDAY, October 3rd:

The Long Term Personal Project: From Concept to Audience

When an idea for a project becomes clear and the passion to produce new work takes hold, an artist begins a unique journey unlike any other. Understanding your desired audience and the impact of your project are critical to achieving the expectations and results you desire.

In this webinar, Mary Virginia Swanson will lead participants through the essential steps of thorough research and wise decision-making to create work that is authentic in both its creation and presentation with the strongest possibility of sponsorship, exhibition and publication.

Hosted by The Print Center 1:00 – 5:30 pm EDT

Limited to 100 participants – presented on Zoom

Note: Enrollment in the seminar is limited; both optional Project Reviews are sold out.
