「わたしの国は、この世には属していない。」（ヨハネ18:36） あらためて「わたしの国」とは、中絶が考えられない国です。そこを目指して前進をつづけたい日本のマーチは、毎年「海の日」を「産みの日」と読み替えて、７月半ばのその日に行進をおこなってきました。小さないのちを守る会の辻岡健象先生との出会いから2014年に始まった真夏の「いのちの行進」は10年休まず銀座・日本橋を歩きつづけましたが、今年は一旦小休止します。みんなひたすら前を向いて歩いてきましたが、前を行く人の背中を見るだけで互いに顔と顔を合わせる機会はありませんでした。どんな人がどんな思いでマーチに集っているのか声を聞くこともままならないまま整然と行進を繰り返してきました。ここで歩みをとめて、みんなが向き合って、話し合い分かち合うところから、新たなマーチの方向性を見出したいと思います。

The Japanese March has been marching every year on that day in mid-July, with the "Marine Day" read as the "Be Born Day". The Midsummer March for INOCHI, which began in 2014 after meeting Pastor Kenzo Tsujioka of Pro Life Japan, has walked through Ginza and Nihonbashi for 10 years without a break, but this year it will pause for a moment. Everyone has been walking forward, but we have never had a chance to see each other face to face, just looking at the backs of those in front of us. We have been marching in an orderly fashion without being able to hear the voices of those who have gathered for the march and what they are thinking about. We would like to find a new direction for the march by stopping here and having everyone face each other, discussing, and sharing.

７月１５日「うみの日」午後２時から、場所はお茶の水クリスチャン・センターです。プロタステントでも、カトリックでも、キリスト者でなくても（日本人であれば未信者でも潜在的なキリスト者です）、小さないのちに思いがある人ならどなたでも参加できます。どうぞ顔合わせしましょう。お茶の水クリスチャン・センターは、10年前に初めて辻岡先生とお会いしてマーチの開催について話し合った場所でもあります。日本のマーチの原点に帰って、中絶の苦しみが産みの喜びに変わることを願うわたしたちの未来を一緒に見据えましょう。

いのちのマーチ会議、その正式名称は「小さないのちを守るためにキリスト者が一致に向かう日本のマーチ」です。たとえばプロテスタントとカトリックが信仰上の立場の違いを超えて互いに持ち味を認め合うなら、「一致」は力になります。わたしたちがひとつであることを確認する、だれにでも開かれた初めての会議。日本のマーチ「10年目の設立総会」です。

July 15, 2:00 p.m., at Ochanomizu Christian Center. Anyone who has a heart for little INOCHI, whether Protestant, Catholic, or non-Christian (as long as you are Japanese, even unbelievers are potential Christians), is welcome to attend. Let's meet each other. Ochanomizu Christian Center is also the place where I first met Pastor Tsujioka 10 years ago to discuss starting the March. Let us return to the origin of the March in Japan and look to our future together, hoping that the pain of abortion will be replaced by the joy of childbirth.

March for INOCHI Conference, its official name is "Christians March Toward Unity to Protect Little INOCHI in Japan. Unity is powerful when Protestants and Catholics recognize each other's strengths beyond differences in faith. This is the first conference open to all that affirms our oneness. This is the Japanese March's "10th Year Founding General Meeting.
