WILDFIRE ENERGY AND NATURGY ENTER INTO AGREEMENT IN REGARD TO MIHG WASTE TO HYDROGEN TECHNOLOGY During September, Wildfire Energy and Naturgy announced that they had entered into a collaborative agreement with respect to the development of Wildfire’s MIHG (Moving Injection Horizontal Gasification) technology to produce hydrogen from a range of residual wastes, such as Municipal Solid Waste, and agricultural residues, such as wheat straw. Under the agreement, Wildfire will develop and demonstrate their technology operating the MIHG pilot plant to produce hydrogen from a range of residual wastes. In 2024, Wildfire plan to complete a Concept Study for a MIHG waste to hydrogen project in Spain to be developed by Naturgy. Wildfire is pleased to be working with Naturgy, a leading European energy company with substantial expertise in renewable gases and hydrogen. Further details and links are provided below. |

HYDROGEN CONNECT SUMMIT 2023 The Wildfire team played a very active role in this years Hydrogen Connect Summit in Brisbane. On September 6th Wildfire hosted a group of 20 professionals at the MIHG pilot plant as part of the technical tour program. On September 6th and 7th Wildfire hosted a booth to promote MIHG waste to hydrogen technology, securing a number of new leads. Also on September 7th, Greg Perkins provided a brief keynote on producing hydrogen from waste and the journey Wildfire has experienced over the past twelve months. He also participated as a judge on this year's StartUp Pitch Battle - which was fantastic fun and showcased a great new set of startups and innovations in the hydrogen industry. Congratulations go to the organising team and H2Q for hosting a great event. Wildfire looks forward to the 2024 summit . . . |

SEMBWASTE CEO VISITS MIHG PILOT PLANT On September 5th, Mr Lee Kok Kin, Chief Executive Officer and Mr Muhamad Firdaus Bin Hamzah, Business Development Manager of Sembwaste visited the MIHG pilot plant and witnessed it in operation processing construction and demolition (C&D) waste into renewable electricity. SembWaste is a leading sustainable environmental services provider focused on helping Singapore transform to a circular economy. SembWaste provides waste management, public cleaning and recycling services and operates a materials recovery facility and waste to energy plant. SembWaste is part of Sembcorp a leading energy and urban solutions provider, headquartered in Singapore, driven by its purpose to do good and play its part in building a sustainable future. Wildfire is developing a strong and collaborative relationship with Sembcorp and together we are exploring how deployment of our MIHG waste gasification technology can create the most value. NEW EMPLOYEE - DOUW JACOBS Wildfire is pleased to announce that during September, Douw Jacobs joined the Wildfire team as Lead Mechanical Engineer. Douw has 25 years of mechanical engineering experience across oil and gas, mining, minerals processing and steel manufacture. He has previous experience in gasification. |

Douw has worked for Hatch, Jacobs Engineeering, Incitec Pivot and Mittal Steel. In his role Douw will lead engineering for the new MIHG reactor and the water gas shift units to be added to the pilot plant, the design for the commercial MIHG reactors and mechanical design aspects of Project Proton. We welcome Douw to the Wildfire team! |
