Catechist and Lector Workshops and Retreat

Many thanks to our catechists and lectors who have dedicated time these past two Saturdays for their ongoing formation in these ministries, helping us grow together and improve our parish!

Weekly Mass Schedule

REMEMBER

No MASS 8:30, 10:00, or 12:00

Theologically, processions remind us that we are pilgrims journeying through this earthly existence following Jesus on “the Way”

(an early title for the Church).

This is especially valuable for us as, like the early Church, we worship and learn largely without the support of Church buildings.

In the Eucharistic processions of the solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ we publicly proclaim this truth, following the Lord physically even as we pledge anew to do so spiritually.

We also give public witness to our acceptance of the Lord’s words: “The bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world”

(Jn 6:51).

WORKING ON OUR CANOPY FOR THE PROCESSION:

I AM VERY GRATEFUL FOR THE WORD OF MOUTH REFERRALS FOR BAPTISMS AND SACRAMENTS

But please encourage people to come and visit on Sunday and talk to me after Mass rather than just call the office for information. We gather best as a community around Eucharist. And PLEASE be very welcoming to new participants at Mass! Even if they are not new, and just new to you, say hello, offer to show them where the bathrooms are, tell them of our plans, introduce them to me (in case they are shy!) THANK YOU!!!

Holy Communion to the Homebound

One of the more beautiful ministries of our parish is bringing Holy Communion to the sick. One of my more difficult tasks is identifying those who need Communion brought to them. If you need a bit of help, or have a neighbor who does (after talking to her or him), please sign up below:
