Hi all,
April is national poetry month! All K-12 students are invited to participate in our second annual poetry contest (free submission). Poetry is all about creativity, imagination, intuition, and our human experience, all of which have become even more essential than ever in the era of AI. Please check out last year's winners here and read the rules for this year's contest here.
Summer camps open for enrollment:
Unleash your creativity at our summer camps! We have recently welcomed Susan (educator and author; M.A. in Education, Stanford University) to join our team. She will teach 3 new creative writing classes this summer: Mystery writing, Trials of a hero and heroine, and A journey through history. We're honored to have the published author, Andy, to teach another session of the very popular Sci-Fi writing class. His new book Polluted Metamorphoses releases April 25th! Congratulations, Andy! Sign up for the summer camps now!
The NextGen Edu Book Review Project: Congratulations to the students whose book reviews have been accepted for publication! Their book reviews have been published on NextGen Edu Book Review Project as well as on MCBD website. We have recently partnered with more authors and publishers from SCBWI (Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators), which is the largest children’s writing organization in the world. I have just received a big box of new books yesterday and have published a new book list for students to review. Deadline is May 31, 2023.
The NextGen Voices Magazine: A big thanks to all of you who have submitted to our online magazine! We’ve received a lot of submissions from North America, Europe and Asia! Our next submission deadline is April 15. Free submissions! If you have submitted, please be patient, as we'll send out emails of acceptance notifications soon.
Best,
Jiang Pu, Ph.D.
