With COVID-19 rising, we are keeping the office open only for special meetings specified by our administrators. Caring and Sharing, Mentor Program and PSDP sessions will still be conducted virtually. If you have any questions or issues, please send us an email.

Caring & Sharing and PSDP: We will be resuming our Caring & Sharing and PSDP programs this month. Below are the dates:

 

Caring & Sharing - Friday 10/2 @ 6:00 PM

 

PSDP - Saturday 10/10 @ 10:00 AM

 

General Announcements

 

  1. Email Summaries: We have noticed many of you have not been sending summaries. Please send summaries for each meeting, session, and activity you attend, otherwise you will lose some student benefits.
     
  2. Scholarships: Please apply to the various scholarships available from our scholarship list and NACAC's scholarship list. The sooner you begin applying, the more chances you have of winning and saving for your college education. Scholarships for international students can be found here.

IEF Portal / GuidedPath Cloud Storage: Please upload all documents for your meeting(s) onto the GuidedPath Cloud Storage prior to the meeting time.

Note: please only upload your financial documents onto the IEF Portal.

October Challenge:

Bone Bridge or Spooky Story

 

Spooky season has come upon us and we decided to set a small challenge for you. For those interested, you can complete one of the two challenges:

 

  • Bone Bridge: create a bone bridge using Q-Tips, pipe cleaners, popsicle sticks and clothespins. Send a 10 second short video of you creating/testing the structure and a picture of you with the final product. Note: All videos and pictures should be vertical.
    Create the strongest bridge, the most flexible bridge, or the bridge that can hold the most candy

 

 

  • Spooky Story: write a 250-word spooky story. Must be original, grammatically correct, and complex sentence structure.

 

Please send your submission to Ann Idichandy by October 28th. Winners will be posted on our social media pages on the 31st.
