Dear Colleagues,
Like many of you, we are well aware of the current Coronavirus outbreak, and the LOC of the International Complement Workshop 2020 Berlin, together with the ICS and our Professional Organizer we are continually monitoring the situation. The health and safety of the ICW attendees remain our top priority. The World is currently in a new situation, and we are facing scenarios which are dramatic and which affects all countries in the World and every person's life. Only by delaying the wave of infection, we can hopefully avoid overloading of the health care systems.  

As things stand, we assume that the ICW congress will take place, and we continue to plan accordingly.  We sincerely hope that the actions that are followed by officials in many countries will be effective and will work out. We will watch the development in the next month and discuss the options.

Right now, abstract submission is open, and we try to keep abstract submission open, as we have planned for late-breaking abstracts.  We hope that you all are safe and in good health and that also your families and friends are in good conditions. We still hope that we will get a chance to meet in Berlin in September this year.
