Happy New Year...

from Fox Den Folk Care

As we approach the upcoming year, I extend gratitude to my loyal clients for following me to my new location, and to those of you who are new to my practice. I appreciate you all! I have settled in nicely at 719 Massachusetts #113 since October. I am graced with a wonderful officemate, Kalen Richardson and have also felt very welcomed by our landlord.

Here's to a successful start! Thank you for all the Gift Certificate, Elder Elixir, Medicinal Herbal Body Oil and Folk Tonic purchases. I couldn't have done it without you.

In the next coming year, I plan to study Abdominal Massage with Alex Jackson of Centered Spirit in KC. I look forward to working with more clients using this time honored technique of dealing with many maladies that stem from the holding patterns of our guts. I will also be fine tuning my fire cupping techniques within this study.

Another venture I will be working towards is Community Herbalism. My goal is to offer herbalism that works for The People, of all backgrounds. Specifically, Southern Folk Medicine, which is the only system of folk medicine, other than Native American, that developed in the United States. I am excited to learn more about this method of healing and offering it to my community. Plant Power For Everyone.

If you are longing for a couples massage with a beloved, I can accommodate you at Merkaba Wellness Center. We provide a variety of spa treatments in a lovely downtown location. Visit their website for contact information and book directly with them. And of course, you can always contact me beforehand if you have questions.

Lastly, I want to share that I am co-hosting a monthly meeting at the Lawrence Public Library called Death Colloquy. We meet every last Thursday of the month at 7pm to discuss various topics regarding death and dying. Our mission is to provide a non biased, safe space for folks to have these discussions. (Please note, this is not a support group and does not take the place of a licensed healthcare professional). I will also now be offering consulting services at my office. Please feel free to contact me for more information.

Thank you again, I appreciate your support of my practice and for taking the time for self care. I hope 2019 is filled with copious amounts of health for us all.
