Executive Director Resignation Over the past four years, being a part of MASC has been an incredibly rewarding experience. I have had the opportunity to work alongside some amazing student leaders, contribute to meaningful projects and conferences, and witness positive changes within our organization. The memories and friendships that I have made during my time here will always hold a special place in my heart. From the regional advisors to the student executive board members, MASC will always be near and dear to me. Thus, it is with mixed emotions to announce my resignation from the position of Executive Director with the Maryland Association of Student Councils (MASC) effective June 30, 2024. |
I want to express my since gratitude to everyone within the organization for their support, guidance, and camaraderie throughout my tenure. I am truly grateful for the trust and confidence placed in me, and I have learned invaluable lessons that will stay with me for a lifetime. |

Article Recommendations from #ICANHELP - DIGITAL4GOOD Experts Weigh In: Donna Wick, Ed.D; Clinical Psychologist and founder of Mind to Mind Parents says, “Kids text all sorts of things that you would never in a million years contemplate saying to anyone’s face...You hope to teach them that they can disagree without jeopardizing the relationship, but what social media is teaching them to do is disagree in ways that are more extreme and jeopardize the relationship. It’s exactly what you don’t want to have happen.”
How does social media addiction start? Social media plays a large role when it comes to our mental health. The goal of social media apps is to keep us on them and absorb a lot of content.
