Tickets are already half gone for the last chance to celebrate all that 958 Broadview Avenue in Toronto has meant while it has been the Toronto Estonian House. Once the event is at capacity, no more tickets will be sold, so please buy in advance to avoid disappointment. Estonian Arts Centre, the charity associated with KESKUS, brings to the stage a lineup of the bands and performers who created the soundtrack that feeds our memories, many of whom are re-forming after decades! Deep foundation work returned to the KESKUS site now that the construction trades have settled their various strike negotiations. The order in which the micropiles, soldier piles and caissons are drilled require careful coordination to ensure that weight on the TTC tunnels running the width of the site, remains within limits and that the testing of the structurally critical micropiles keeps pace with the work undertaken. This is a continuation of Phase I of the 3 phases outlined at the most recent Community Engagement Session on March 24, 2022 - you can view it here, or read it here, eesti keeles siin. |
