Let's Celebrate Earth Week Together! |
This April 22nd marks the 50th anniversary of the founding of Earth Day. In honour of this occasion, the Creatively United for the Planet non-profit society, has organized a FREE online community EarthFest - Creative Solutions for a New World webinar series, from 11 am to 12:30 pm daily from April 19-25th. |
The week will feature an incredible line up of world-class presenters who will explore a multitude of transformational possibilities and creative solutions to inspire and move us forward, including some of western Canada's top youth climate leaders. We hope you will share this information far and wide. We have hundreds of people from all over the world already registered! If you were one of the first to register before April 13th, we upgraded our Zoom account to a webinar format and are unable to provide automated email reminders of the webinars to our early birds. If you would like an email reminder just prior to the webinars, please take a moment sign up for reminders here. |

We will be recording and sharing all the presentations on CreativelyUnited.org. As well, we will be keeping the conversations going and growing with the launch of a series of regular online presentations called New World Wednesdays, starting Wed., April 29th from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. Creatively United for the Planet founder, Frances Litman, will host this series of fascinating talks designed to leave you feeling that anything is possible. We are thrilled to begin the New World Wednesday series on Wednesday, April 29th with the warm voice and thoughtful reflections of Order of Canada recipient, singer, composer, librettist, author, storyteller, and keynote speaker, Ann Mortifee. Instead of being consumed by fear and all the daily bad news, we have an opportunity to explore the many ways we can manifest a healthier, happier world that works in harmony with nature. “Never waste the opportunity to learn from a crisis.” - Winston Churchill Event link: https://creativelyunited.org/earthfest-live/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/events/221310122275428/ |

Please follow us on Facebook and show your support by making a donation. The Creatively United for the Planet Society is a registered non-profit society. Since 2012, we have brought together more than 10,000 people from throughout the region who care about happy, healthy, and resilient communities. We have done so through seven zero-waste sustainability showcases, numerous community events and educational talks, collaborative partnerships, a video series, and the CreativelyUnited.org free community information network, resource and solutions sharing hub. The Gail O'Riordan Climate and the Arts Legacy Fund supported by Tides Canada is dedicated to changing human consciousness towards global environmental change by combining science with the creativity of the performing arts. The Ecoforestry Institute Society (EIS) is a registered non-profit, charitable society comprised of a volunteer Board and a strong core of community volunteers. Together, we are dedicated to the principles and practices of ecoforestry – demonstrating that we can harvest trees and plants from the forest while maintaining healthy and integrated ecological systems. |
