A month ago we put out several prayer requests; one of which was for a man named Aye Naing to believe. By God's grace, he believed in Christ and we baptized him this past week. He has been sharing the gospel and asking us to visit people so we can talk to them about Christ. It is quite amazing to see. We praise God for His goodness and such a beautiful display of the power of the gospel. |

The night before Aye Naing's baptism I talked to him to see if he truly wanted to follow Christ. I asked him if your family, your friends, and your boss turned against you will you still follow Him? He unquestionably said yes, and went on to say how his family has already given him a hard time and that Jesus is worth far more. By God's grace, I believe that Aye Naing has decided to follow Jesus. David shared the gospel with Aye Naing and continues to disciple him, please pray for him to grow boldly in his faith. Also pray that his wife and daughter will believe. |

I also want to thank God for the faithful people that he has sent and saved here. We are a church that believes in training the saints to do the work of the ministry. Please pray for God to guide and direct us in this. I was very thankful to have two dear brothers, David and Eric, willing to baptize Aye Naing. |

Sister Zion is still working through how to best help her older students. Some of them are moving to a larger town nearby to get some vocational training. To save costs they are building bamboo housing. For those of you who know him, Peter is in the middle helping. |

We rented a classroom in Bak Nam where the 3000-5000 Myanmar people live. We have made over 100 connections by teaching English so far. Pray God continues to bless and grow our influence. I also want to share a testimony about the goodness of God. When you go into a new Thai town there is one person that is very important to connect with. His title is Pu Yai and he is sort of like a mayor and respected elder rolled into one. Without his blessing, there could be problems starting things in the town. We discussed as a group the need to meet him. As it turned out, he was the person who showed us one of the properties we looked at in Pak Nam. We were able to talk with him about our intentions; he was very excited to hear it and had ideas for us of his own. We told him we would meet with him in our class in the future and he was excited to hear it. God is good. |

We greatly appreciate your prayers: Please pray that Aye Naing and his family will believe. God partly answered this prayer. Continue to pray for Aye Naing's wife and daughter. Pray that God would expand our connections to share the gospel with more people. God answered this prayer. We have made many connections in Bak Nam. Please keep praying. There are about 5 to 10 people that we are regularly sharing the gospel with who have not believed yet. Please pray their eyes will be opened and they will believe. Pray for more people to come. We are at/beyond our capacity to connect with the people around us. Don’t forget to ask God if you should go. Pray for us to know how to best help Zions kids. Pray for someone with a heart to go to her area with the purpose of church planting. Please pray for continued strength and wisdom for our group as we move forward and serve in all these areas. Please pray for our girls (Chloe and Raegan) in America as they are in college and working. Pray God would keep them safe and that they would be strong and continue to shine their light for Jesus where God has them. God continues to answer this prayer. Raegan, our 17-year-old daughter, was able to share about our ministry at a church gathering. Chloe was able to get a new job.
