Neighbors helping Neighbors You never know when you might lend a hand to a neighbor in need, and those needs can range from personal to, well, quite substantial. Take, for instance, the residents of Eagle Ranch, who patiently waited for a herd to cross the road before continuing. This simple act is a wonderful demonstration of helping to minimize the impact on our local wildlife. |

Wildlife Corner Committee Purpose & Funding Source The Eagle Ranch Wildlife Committee was established in 1999 per sections 5.9.1 and 5.9.2 of the Eagle Ranch Declarations for the purpose of protecting and managing wildlife in our community. Funding for wildlife projects is provided through a portion of the Real Estate Transfer Fee. The Wildlife Mitigation and Enhancement Plan allows this fund to be used for Wildlife Committee and CPW authorized wildlife enhancement projects in Eagle County, on or within five miles of Eagle Ranch. Funds may be distributed in a wide variety of wildlife and habitat enhancement projects, including stream, riparian, wetland fisheries, winter range compensation/enhancement, purchases of additional open space with important wildlife values, and wildlife-related education.

Wildlife Mitigation Plan - Dogs and Pet Control |
|
|
The Eagle Ranch Wildlife Mitigation and Enhancement Plan mandates that residents may not keep dogs on their property unless they possess adequate facilities (such as animals kept indoors, a fenced yard, dog run, or kennel) to confine their pets. Moreover, dogs are strictly prohibited from running freely at any time. The Town of Eagle has recently implemented measures to ensure the enforcement of leash laws on the Eagle Ranch Golf Course. This ordinance clarifies two terms that previously caused ambiguity, resulting in varied interpretations of the leash-law regulations within the Town of Eagle. Specifically, the definition of "Common Ground" has been amended to explicitly state that the Eagle Ranch Golf Course is not considered Common Ground. Additionally, the term "expressly permitted" has been eliminated from the definition of "Premises." To view the full ordinance, select this link: Ordinance 1, 2024, Town of Eagle. Failure to comply with the Town of Eagle leash-law's and seasonal closures can lead to hefty fines to violators. To report dogs-at-large/off-leash, please contact Animal Control 970-328-3647. To report animals harassing wildlife, please contact Colorado Parks and Wildlife 970-948-9166. |

Design Review Corner Design Review Process Guides These process guides are intended to guide homeowners, architects and developers through the design review process. The New Construction / Major Alteration document will assist with answering questions related to constructing a new home or adding floor area (i.e. adding an ADU). The Minor / Moderate Alteration document explains the process for improvements to your home that do not include the addition of any floor area, such as maintenance items like painting your home, or a re-roof. These may also include changes that add square footage to your residence such as adding or expanding a deck, outbuildings, and pools or spas. Guidelines Update An update to the Eagle Ranch Design Guidelines was approved by the Executive Board. This update will focus on consolidation and clean-up of the neighborhood guidelines including: Meadows, Uplands, Filing 14, Highlands, and Ridgeline neighborhoods. This consolidation of guidelines does not anticipate any significant changes to the design elements. The DRB administrator can be reached by emailing eagleranchdrb@eastwest.com or by calling 970-328-2174.
