THE "PENDING" LEGAL CASE:

We are writing to share an update on our relentless pursuit of justice for our beautiful Hannah, who tragically lost her life in October 2022.

Hannah's case has been marked by frustration, confusion, and emotional turmoil for our family.

Recent legal analysis has shed light on the challenges we face in pursuing legal action against Klickitat County for their investigation into Hannah's death. While there may be potentially viable claims for negligence and emotional distress under Washington law, pursuing such a lawsuit would come at a high cost, both financially and emotionally.

The Reality of Legal Action: A lawsuit would not compel the County to prosecute anyone responsible for Hannah's death or provide the answers we desperately seek. Instead, it would primarily focus on financial compensation and accountability for a neglected investigation. Based on our attorney's legal analysis, the costs involved in pursuing this route would likely outweigh any potential monetary gains, and would not help us meet our true goals - finding out the truth about what happened to Hannah and holding anyone responsible for her death, accountable.

Our Path Forward: Given these considerations, our legal counsel does not recommend pursuing a lawsuit against Klickitat County for negligent investigation. Our goals are to uncover the truth about Hannah's death and ensure justice is served. We believe it's crucial to continue our efforts to raise public awareness and media attention on the case. Your support and efforts to spread awareness are deeply appreciated. Public pressure to reopen the investigation is critical to achieving these goals. We have hired experts and outside professionals to continue our search for answers, and will keep you all updated as we move forward.
