Who is Drain The Swamp Committee? It is constituents, in our local areas, who decide who we want to nominate to represent us in our communities, as public servants and elected officials. It is U.S. Citizens at legal voting age in our sovereign civil rights to our sacred votes, no matter political affiliation, race, color, creed, disability, or profession. It is all of us. It is #WeThePeople.
Drain The Swamp PAC only accepts candidate nominations from constituents, people like you and me, and then shares those nominations back within the districts that the candidate has pledged to represent. Drain The Swamp PAC does not accept candidate nominations from candidates themselves, campaigns, or candidate committees. The nomination and endorsement process is strictly grassroots, by the people, for the people as our Founding Fathers intended.
But we need your help. Here’s a few ways to get involved.
1. Nominate a Candidate. Contact us to nominate a candidate, or find out who has been nominated in your community. If you are nominating, please provide 1-3 sentences explanation as to why your candidate is an important leader. We also encourage you to raise awareness of your candidate in social media like X/Twitter, Facebook, and other platforms.
2. Connect Locally. If you are interested to be locally active, attend local events, volunteer, we can refer you with grassroots leaders in most states. Just let us know your county, state, and interest to help us make an informed referral.
3. Contribute Nominally. Our grassroots endorsement campaigns operate with a combination of volunteerism, commitment to the will of the people, and nominal cost without the exorbitant expenses of K Street political consultants and big media public relations firms. We depend solely on local constituent preferences, prioritize generating discussion on local opinions, and cultivating direct participation of constituents in the political process. While our costs may be lower than establishment PACs, we do need your help in as little as $5, $10, $25, or $50 to cover expenses including state and FEC compliance, email marketing, social media ads, independent media ads, and minimal staff. Please consider making a one-time or monthly contribution.
