My next novel, The Podcast Chronicles is set in Durango, Colorado. I needed a location that was drop-dead gorgeous for this story, and I knew Durango was it long before I started writing. Durango holds a special place in my heart. My parents have had a home there since I was a child, and I chose to get married there among the pines and aspens. At the time, they had a home in Durango but had recently purchased a lot where they wanted to build their dream home. |

That lot had a perfectly placed rock outcropping overlooking a small lake and the mountains beyond. That was the site of the best wedding I've ever attended (I may be biased). After the ceremony, performed by a local justice of the peace, we had a fabulous reception at a nearby restaurant, then ended the night with a keg party for all of our friends who'd traveled to share in this special day. The Podcast Chronicles, available for preorder, is about saving the place you love and finding yourself in the process. I hope you enjoy it. | | |

San Diego author Tomi Adeyemi has written an exciting coming-of-age story that deals with power, magic, and belonging. Children of Blood and Bone and its sequel, Children of Virtue and Vengeance, are spectacular adventures. Both books are bestsellers and have made every list imaginable. Best of all, the final book in the Legacy of Orisha series, Children of Anguish and Anarchy, should come out soon. Paramount Studios has purchased the movie rights to the series. |
