Hello Friends!

Well, July flew by at warped speed. Did it go by as quickly for you? I always put the skids on at the beginning of August because I know school starts up at the end of the month. This month began with college essay tutoring one-on-one with ten rising seniors. I always love working on these with my students because the topics highlight their passions. 

Authors Talking Bookish released its third episode on July 19th. I do hope you have tuned in. Hope Gibbs and I are finding our groove and having fun with it. I spent two weeks in Europe, along with eighteen family members; we visited Rome, then took a Mediterranean cruise to Amalfi & Pompeii, Italy, Kusadasi and Istanbul, Turkey, and Crete, Mykonos and Athens, Greece. My husband and I, along with my dad and his wife, spent three additional days in Santorini. Mykonos and Santorini have long been on my bucket list and they did not disappoint–beautiful blue waters, winding alleyways, perfect for getting lost (in a good way), and the people and food were amazing!

Amazing reviews have been coming in as I just wrapped up Suzy Approved Book tours. I’ve also gotten a number of reviews on Amazon and Goodreads. I encourage you, if you haven’t done so already, to write a short review on Amazon in particular. It helps debut authors more than you know. Also ask your friends who are reading to write a review (just a starred review and a few words works). 

I’ve done a number of events and have met some very cool people. I also scheduled a several bookclub events for the upcoming month. I’m excited to hear what people are thinking about my novel. If you have a bookclub and feature All That is Sacred, I’d love to attend. I’ll bring some stories, fun swag and a trivia game.

Of Lies and Honey NEWS!

I’m awaiting line edits for Of Lies and Honey and I just filled out an application for an audio book. I’m looking forward to getting my wishlist for the cover, and soon thereafter I should have a release date. I can’t believe things are taking shape for my 2nd book! It’s like having that second child, knowing how fast it all goes in retrospect, and you want to slow it down but time keeps moving.
