For this 2021- COVID-19 Pandemic year, Reggae entertainers from across the globe have produced more than one hundred outstanding albums, that could be considered for a Grammy nomination; however, the nominees and albums selected deserve their nods and should have little or no controversy. It is particularly pleasing to see one third of nominees are female. We wish them all the best.” Dr. Martin, concluded. In the meantime, nominations for IRAWMA’s 40th Anniversary will be open to the industry experts and entertainment media individuals in January of 2022. The 40th IRAWMA is scheduled for May 1st, 2022, in Kingston, Jamaica.
