Listening closely...

Meet us in Jackie Robinson Park.

A deer wandered into Harlem in 2016. Five years later, it continues to inspire artists Stephanie Fleischmann, Christina Campanella, and Mallory Catlett as they reflect on the relationship between the natural world and the built environment.

The Visitation is a sonic journey that's part audio tour, part song cycle. Join us this Saturday, May 1st where we'll get to hang out and meet the artists.

The walk starts in front of the Foodtown at W148th St and St Nicholas Ave and ends in Jackie Robinson Park. You can start whenever, go at your own pace, and we'll see you at the end between 4-6PM.

Full of Noises is now available in East Hampton.

If you're planning on being in the Hamptons, check out Full of Noises: A Village Soundwalk recently released by Guild Hall of East Hampton. Sound artist Viv Corringham encourages you to turn your walk into a meditation, listen without judgement, and question your relationship with the local soundscape. Do you like the sounds of your environment as it is? How would you change it?

Walk, Listen, Reflect

Celebrate New York with Jane's Walk.

Jane’s Walk was founded to celebrate the life and legacy of urban activist, Jane Jacobs, who believed in the power of individuals to influence their city. The Jane's Walk community honors her memory by fostering community-led walks around cities that inspire new ways of imagining public spaces, spur an exchange of diverse ideas, and strengthen the collective love we all feel for our cities.

This year's NYC festival begins on May 3rd, and on-demand experiences like our audio walks will be available during the festival week.
