Haunted Complex Recap

Thanks to everyone that attended our Haunted Complex 2019 event!

 

We had over 1,000 visitors come through the facility for our event and they donated over 1,000 lbs. of food in support of the Kanata Food Cupboard.

 

Thanks to everyone that attended, as well as all the staff and volunteers that make this event possible!

UPDATE: Police Record Checks

Changes to the fee structure for Police Records Checks from Ottawa Police Services took effect on September 1st.

 

What does this mean?

Volunteers will now be required to pay a small fee in order to get a record check.

 

How much will a record check cost?

Beginning on September 1st, 2019 volunteers will be charged $10.

The fee will increase to $20 on January 1st, 2020.

Volunteer of the Month!

Every month, we will be recognizing the efforts and contributions of our

most outstanding volunteers!

Congratulations to Autumn, our Volunteer of the Month for October!

 

Autumn is a returning volunteer from our National Youth Week Organizing Committee, assisting in our dodgeball gameplay classes each week. She also volunteered with our PA Day Camp this month and helped at our Halloween event!

 

Autumn is an enthusiastic and reliable volunteer, who is always looking for ways to help. She has built her confidence, showing that she is now comfortable in a variety of programs and settings in our facility.

 

Thanks for all of your hard work, Autumn!
