An Autumn Reset Challenge.
The past four weeks have been absolutely non-stop for me. Between family reunions, backpacking trips, and some birthday celebrations of some very important people in my life, the end of August and start of September came in like a wrecking ball for me. And at this point in time, I don't see it slowing down too too much in the coming weeks, as much as I wish it were going to.
In times like this, I remember just how important my self care rituals are for keeping my head screwed on. There is nothing I love more than time spent diving inward— gathering and honouring myself, recognizing my intentions, and hitting refresh... particularly after a hard week(s). This ritual comes in many forms. For me, it tends to be either during a body-movement session of some sort, or a journaling session, or a long drive where I can simply chat with myself (that last one is cheesy but SO effective for me).
With fall beginning this Saturday the 23rd, I encourage you to jump in on this journey with me! Dive inward and hit refresh a little bit. Connect with your goals, manifestations, maybe even craft up a vision board of sorts! One of the activities I'm going to be practicing will be setting some intentions for October.
Setting monthly intentions I've found to be a powerful way of refocusing my energy on the major goals I have the present moment. I like to sit down and write out somewhere around 2-3 (and no more than 4!) intentions I set for the month. Simply writing them down, and taking the time to curate the selection of goals I find makes it all really stick. I don't know about you, but I feel like I always have 30+ goals that I could list out at any given moment. But when I take a step back, I have to honour my growth at it's own pace. There is no way I can knock out that many lifestyle changes in one swoop. I have to learn to be patient with myself. We all do. So taking that time to really focus on which two or three core goals I'd like to focus on first, really sets me up to get something done, rather than trying to focus on too many things at once.
SO... I come to you with a challenge.
Take a few minutes today to set aside two or three or maybe even four (but no more) intentions for this coming month/season. Pause to give them space. Place some intention in them.
And feel free to share them with me (/the world) on insta stories! That way others can hold you accountable once they know what you're going after.
We're all chugging along gloriously! Collectively. Together. One goal at a time. Growing and experiencing this magical lifetime together. I'm honoured to be on this path with ya.
