Hello old friends, and welcome new ones! |
It's been almost two months since Heart Blossom Healing moved to its new location in Campbell, and things have taken off at a gallop since then. Old acupuncture patients have returned, and many new ones have come in, both for acupuncture and Reiki—some a little of both. I've loved seeing so many of you again and meeting new, wonderful people. It's been an honor and a pleasure to support you on your healing journey. I so appreciate your trust in me. 🙏🏼 |

To me, it still feels like summer's only just begun—yet kids and teachers are already going back to school! When I was growing up in Germany, our summer vacation ran through the whole month of August and half of September, so, to me, we're just now entering the heart of summer. ☀️😄 What have I been up to this summer? Well, aside from returning to acupuncture, I started playing pickleball, and, I'll admit, I'm hooked! It's been great fun to learn the game, improve my skills, feel my body become stronger, and, maybe most of all, meet so many cool people in the process. Pickleball is such a social sport. I love that you can show up at the courts at almost any time of day and find someone to play with. Have you tried it yet? |

I love all the fresh summer fruits and vegetables. My girlfriend brought home a bag of organic peaches from a colleague’s tree the other week, and I found this super quick and easy peach cobbler recipe online. I modified it to use oat flour, coconut oil, and coconut sugar (plus decreased the amount of sugar the recipe called for). It was so good, we made it again the following week, this time adding blackberries for an extra pop of color and flavor. |

I look forward to trying this recipe with other seasonal fruit throughout the year. Fresh plums are next! Another favorite summer dish is cantaloupe melon wrapped in prosciutto. My grandparents used to serve it in France, along with a glass of sweet port wine, so this dish brings back special memories for me. |

And fresh, organic corn, grilled to perfection, smothered in butter and salt... Oh, my! 🌽 This was a very special treat for me as a kid because fresh corn was only in season for such a short amount of time in Germany. It's still special now! Especially when someone else prepares it for me. 😄 |

Are you drooling all over your keyboard yet? 🤤 I know I am! 😅 You may be thinking this newsletter is supposed to be about health and wellness, not food. But here's the thing: aside from providing nutrients to improve our wellbeing, food can bring us great joy—especially when shared with others. And joy, in turn, leads to better health! Do your meals bring your joy? If not, how can you start to infuse them with more joy—be it through the types of foods you choose to consume, or the company you keep? |

Even when we do our best to eat a healthy diet, we don't always obtain all the nutrients we need from our food. Supplements can be a good addition to a balanced diet to help us thrive and maintain an active lifestyle. As a Licensed Acupuncturist, I can purchase professional-grade herbal and nutritional supplements. With my online dispensary on Fullscript, so can you—and have them shipped directly to your door. Visit my dispensary page to sign up for an account and choose from brands like Thorne, Designs for Health, Vital Nutrients, Pure Encapsulations, Integrative Therapeutics, Metagenics, Nordic Naturals, and many more. |
We can discuss your wellness protocol at your next acupuncture visit, and I can tailor recommendations to fit your unique needs and lifestyle—though you don't need to be a patient to set up an account. I offer a 10% discount to my Fullscript members to help offset the cost of shipping. |

Have you had cupping done before? My patients love it and feel so relaxed afterwards. |
If you'd like to give it a try, or it's been too long since your last cupping treatment, visit my website or go directly to my Jane page to schedule an appointment online. I do cupping as part of your acupuncture visit. If you're not interested in acupuncture and want cupping only, text, call, or email me at (408) 579-9256 or info@heartblossomhealing.com, and we can discuss the details. |

As always, if you know anyone who may be interested in the services offered at Heart Blossom Healing, please share the love and forward this newsletter to them. 💌 Don't hesitate to hit reply and tell me about your favorite summer dishes—or your vacations, fur babies, your kids or grandkids... I love hearing about all of it, and I love pictures, too! Since I mentioned it, here's one of my 4 fur babies. I mean, that face... Can you resist it? 😜😁 |

Many blessings to you. 💖 In health, Angie ~ |
