MenB Back to School

Men B, or meningococcal serogroup B, is a bacterial infection that can cause meningitis and septicemia, particularly among infants, adolescents, and young adults. Vaccination is crucial for prevention, and it is typically recommended for children, adolescents, and young adults, especially those in close quarters like college dormitories. It's important to consult healthcare providers for personalized advice, recognize symptoms, promote good hygiene practices, and create a supportive environment for discussing Men B and vaccinations. Zero HIV Stigma Day

As a collaborative effort, the International Association of Providers of AIDS Care (IAPAC) and NAZ are celebrating Zero HIV Stigma Day on July 21 to globally raise awareness about HIV stigma and help people learn about ways to stop it. This day also honors Prudence Mabele, the first Black South African woman to publicly share her HIV status. Help stand up to stigma by sharing this resource on HIV stigma.

World Hepatitis Day

Each year on July 28, the World Health Organization celebrates World Hepatitis Day as a time to raise awareness and understanding about viral hepatitis.
