Greetings Livingsong Family, We send our love and salutations from Fredericksburg, VA. As much as we have enjoyed our time serving in the Carolina’s, we are thankful for the Lord’s favor in continuing the mission to the state of Virginia. Fun fact, the first permanent English colony in North America settled in Virginia, established at Jamestown in 1607, making the state known as “The Birthplace of a Nation’! We look forward to sharing about our time serving throughout Virginia in next month’s newsletter, but for this newsletter’s February report, we wanted to start with this top banner photo of an incredible view from one of our last stops in North Carolina, Chimney Rock State Park! We hope you enjoy the view taken from an elevation of 2280 feet. It is definitely a must see place if you're ever in the area. Be prepared for some serious stair climbing, (although there is an elevator if needed) but it's so worth it! God is truly the most brilliant, and creative artist. “In His hand are the depths of the earth; the heights of the mountains are His also. The sea is His, for He made it, and His hands formed the dry land.” - Psalm 95:4-5 As you may recall in last month’s newsletter, we brought up the topic of revival. Alongside the recent media coverage on the two-week long Asbury University prayer and worship outbreak, other videos have circulated online claiming to be outbreaks of revivals as well. It is definitely a praise report and uplifting news in the hope that it brings when it occurs among younger generations who seek the Lord. On February 19th, we had the opportunity to lead worship at the church that hosts “Recovery Church'' group meetings on Mondays in Columbia, South Carolina. Towards the end of the pastor’s sermon that Sunday, (see photo below), he brought up the topic of revival. In short, a noteworthy point he made was that revival isn’t something that can only happen at a certain physical location and time. This is an important point because did you know that you do not have to go to a specific place in order to experience a true move of God? Revival can occur right at your home church, your small group, or even right at home just between you and the Lord! Personally, some of the sweetest moments with God that have revived our faith have been in private. All believers can have an encounter with God and experience revival from the one true giver of all spiritual life. |

According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, the word (Revival) means an “act or instance of reviving : the state of being revived”. In the scriptures, we find that the hope, and prayer for revival is first brought forth from a call to repentance and a return to God. in Hosea 6:1-2 we read “Come, and let us return to the Lord; For He has torn, but He will heal us; He has stricken, but He will [a]bind us up. After two days He will revive us; On the third day He will raise us up, That we may live in His sight.” In Psalms 86:4-7 King David also prayed for revival. “Restore us again, O God of our salvation, and put away Your indignation toward us! Will You be angry with us forever? Will You prolong Your anger to all generations? Will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You? Show us Your steadfast love, O Lord, and grant us Your salvation.” There are so many more passages that provide us with comprehensible answers on what true revival looks like. As we approach Holy Week this April, we can once again reflect on how much Jesus suffered to pay for our sins, so that it may lead us to return to God whatever area in our lives we have allowed sin to exist. We all stand equal at the foot of the cross, and we all need revival from time to time amen? Please know our hearts when we say this, God’s word defines revival, and the evidence that revival has occurred is the fruit of repentance and a return to God. So what’s next? In closing, we continue to be encouraged by your faithful monthly giving and prayers. We thank you and pray for His blessings over you and your family. Lord willing, we will continue to serve in Virginia until the end of April with our last worship service of the month in Maryland at the Rescue Mission in Frederick. Our mission tour dates are updated until October of this year, with more services to be added soon. So far the states we are scheduled to reach are Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Ohio. We love you and never cease to thank our Heavenly Father for you. Happy Palm Sunday Manny & Erika Lynn Garcia Livingsong non profit ministry since 2011 |

Prayer Requests What devastating news about the tragic shooting at the children's private Christian school in Nashville. Our hearts are broken for the six precious lives lost and our prayers go out to their families and friends. Heavenly Father, only You can bring true comfort and peace that surpasses all understanding. "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18)
Dear friends, we are in urgent need of administrative help! The growing number of tasks to coordinate each worship service, and travel routes can all be accomplished remotely. Please pray with us for the Lord's provision and guidance to help us find the right person for the job. Continued prayers lifted up please for Turkey and Syria. God Almighty, as the survivors of this unspeakable recent tragedy are still facing the reality of the earthquake’s aftermath, please make Your presence known and comfort the brokenhearted. Lord, please shelter those who have been displaced and reveal Your precious Son to every lost soul, in Jesus name.
