NeWport Shores - new condo development

More photos of the beautiful kitchen! Many people have commented on the stone. It is a quartzite which is a natural stone which was originally pure quartz sandstone. Through the magic of the earth heating and pressurizing the sandstone it is converted into quartzite. Our friends at Lakeside Stoneworks helped us figure out the best way to apply the slabs to the walls to create a beautiful pattern and to best maximize the slab size for the least amount of waste.

The Guest Bath was designed with her visiting family in mind. We wanted the bathroom to feel as open as possible so we decided to leave the shower open on the end. Once we found the tile it set the inspiration for the whole room. The tile adds such depth and character. We really wanted to let it shine. But then we found the lights and we decided to add more shine!

Many thanks to Gallas Metals for helping us make our metal shower partition, metal shelf under the vanity and shelf in the shower come to life! We worked closely with them on every detail and it shows in the finished work.

Also, thank you to my good friends at The Loom House for those fabulous rugs!

The Master Bedroom and Bathroom had such amazing views that we wanted both spaces to be a quiet retreat to take in the breathtaking surroundings.

We found a natural stone for the bathroom on a trip to Chicago and we loved the subtly of the color but it had just enough movement to keep your eye interested but not overwhelmed. And that countertop! So beautiful. Subtle, but so rich in dimension.

As you can see we mixed in some modern elements but kept the architectural elements very classic.

Many thanks to all our partners....Digitek for shading and controls, Nature-Tech for all the beautiful cabinetry throughout the home, Schmidt Flooring for wood flooring and tile installation, Kohler Plumbing for the plumbing fixtures and Lighting Elements for helping us create a very quiet ceiling with the focus being on the exterior views. Teamwork is necessary on any successful project!

Also, thank you to Ryan Hainey from RJH Creative for always showing up with great ideas and being a thoughtful partner in collaborating on all the photography!
