Registration is now open for the Dahlgren Half Marathon, and the 3H Trail Half Marathon.  Both races are run on the Dahlgren Railroad Heritage Trail but in very different conditions:  one in the winter, and one in the summer.  Early registration gets a $5 discount through Tuesday December 1 at 11:59 pm.  No promo code needed, the discount is included in the listed price.

This year both races are also included in the King George Trail Series.  The series consists of 4 races on the trail.

It is hard to believe that we are only a week and a half away from our last race of 2020.  What. A. Year..... But, the good news is that we get to end it on a high note with one of the most spirited races of the year.  Feel free to wear festive costumes, or ugly sweaters.  Just have fun.  

Santa got the hint......not many people like running up Embrey Mill Hill.  I guess he though y'all were nice this year because he delivered us a new course that stays on Mine Road the entire time!  He also agreed to loan us Buddy the Elf as our race announcer.  Who wouldn't want a shout out from Buddy as they cross the finish line? Announcing is his favorite.

For the competitive runners, this race has some pretty good cash prizes for the top 3 male and female overall ($100, 75, 50) and the age group awards, shirts, and finisher medals are pretty fantastic as well.  See you on race day!  Full race details HERE
