Welcome to our first newsletter!

I hope to start sending these emails monthly to provide updates on the shop, featured events and/or products, tips, guided messages, astrological calendar, and more!

Three years ago today, I started Kyria's Crystals & Curiosities in the middle of a pandemic with no idea what I was doing. Crystals and studying philosophy/spirituality were a big part of my life before 2020 and after seeing my first Instagram Live Sale, I was hooked. Also being a Sagittarius with a chronic case of Wanderlust, it seemed perfect to blend traveling to Gem Shows with our mission: to provide quality hand-selected crystals at affordable prices and the knowledge that goes with them.

Crystals are a part my spiritual practice, yet I welcome those of all faiths in our circle. I will never force my beliefs on anyone. If curious and receptive, though, I do happily provide my perspective on the energy and uses of each crystal. While having a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Psychology from the University of Florida, I regularly take classes on philosophy, Hermetic Science, and magical arts. As I continue to learn, I will share my knowledge with anyone that wishes to receive it.

Since opening the shop, we've experimented with many different marketing and selling platforms, including Instagram, Etsy, Pop-up Shops, Gem Shows, Website, Whatnot, and TikTok (coming soon). There's been a lot of adjustment to the ever-changing economy post-pandemic. Constant changes and glitches on Instagram have honestly been hard to navigate and it pushed us to do more pop-ups this past last year. However, I have to admit that I have really enjoyed meeting so many beautiful souls in-person and will continue doing so for the foreseeable future, in addition to growing our online presence.

There are lots of exciting things coming to the shop: our website is going to be expanded, more products besides crystals are on their way, plus new services and classes are in the works. August is the "calm before the storm" month. Starting in September, our calendar is quickly filling up! The holidays will be here before we know it!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for any support you've provided to my shop over these last couple of years. It truly means the world to me! I can't wait to see where we are in the next 3 years! <3

Big changes coming in August! Cancer season brought about a lot of intense emotions that we had to process. Old wounds might have surfaced, but that's always the universe's way of clearing them. Leo Season now brings in a refreshing air of confidence and style! Release old limiting behaviors and/or thoughts. Embrace who are and step into your own power, just like the lion.

There are TWO super full moons this month, which creates a portal of powerful energy. The Lion's Gate Portal (blog coming soon) on 8/8 is a powerful day to set goals to manifest. Be specific, write them down, and hold yourself accountable. Mercury does go retrograde on 8/23, so be careful making any large business decisions or plans at the end of the month too.
