I went from writing blogs in my cold little camper to sitting by the pool...

Sometimes the weather freaks me out.

Like, think about it for a second. It could've been raining at your house, but at the supermarket it's clear skies. You can drive a hundred miles and outrun a storm cloud! So bizarre.

Really random, I know, but having just been in five feet of snow last week, I'm kinda in weather shock or something.

~

I am currently sitting by the pool, sun setting behind the palm trees.

Don't take that the wrong way, though. I literally just sat down for the first time all weekend. (Besides sitting behind the drum set for two and a half hours last night, but that doesn't count.)

We played our first show in Los Barriles last night at one of our favorite local restaurants, "La Playa". It was incredible! You'll see some of the footage in this next week's vlog, but let me tell you. These people know how to dance!

There's nothing like counting in a groovy song and the crowd yells with excitement as they begin to tap their feet. After that show ended, we packed everything up, and went to set up for church the next morning. I went to bed at 1:00am, got up at 7:00am, got to the church at 8:30am, and played a beautiful service at 9:00am.

After that, me and the family got some lunch,

and then pretty much stared at each other for two hours until we all decided it was nap time.

Later in the afternoon, dad, mom, Eli, and I drove to the local produce stand to get salad toppings for dinner. We decided a quiet night at home was exactly what we needed after a long weekend.

Oddly enough, I am slightly missing home today.

Missing my sweet America. There is something unsettling about leaving your home country and entering a foreign one.

At the same time, it is one of the coolest, most interesting feelings you'll ever experience. I'll never forget the first time I left America.

(Besides going to Canada, which I feel like doesn't count.)

We went to Japan in 2013 when I was seventeen, and I was shook.

Culture shock is real, ya'll.

If you've never left your home country to visit another one, even just for fun, you need to go for it. It is well worth all the effort.

Isn't it incredible that we have a whole world full of amazing countries, and most of us won't even see half of them in our lifetime? Crazy.

Hopefully heaven'll have neat museums about each little place,

or maybe a fun field trip on the "heaven tour bus".

I'm sooo hungry! (haha)

My goodness, I have the appetite of a gorilla today.

But who am I kidding, that's everyday. I started my new workout routine yesterday morning, and then playing for almost three hours last night, my body is just screaming at me. Funny as it sounds, I love when my muscles are sore, because it tells me I did my exercises correctly. Not like I don't get enough of a workout by just playing the drums in general. Also, I feel like when you're eating healthy, and moving your muscles, you need more food on a daily basis. Healthy food, of course. Eli, my fiancé, could do a super hard workout and then eat an entire pack of cookies if I let him.

I've got my work cut out for me, haven't I? (I'm kidding, babe!)

Honestly, it took me way too long to care about my health.

It is such an important part of life, but it's really hard!

Especially hot pretzels with all that yummy cheese... SO HUNGRY.

But honestly, I am so thankful that my family is full of

health-seeking people. As many of you know, my dad has had multiple health issues that started when he was a teenager, so him and mom started following a pretty strict health-code about ten years ago. He's been totally fine ever since, thank goodness.

So. If you're needing a random pep talk on this fine Sunday evening, here it is: Start taking care of yourself!

You deserve to feel your best!

If you're unable to go for a jog around the block, go for a walk instead. Get that beautiful heart of yours pumping!

Take care of what God gave you.

Trust me, you're gonna be happy you did it.

~

Anyhow, there's a little look into Sarah's brain for ya.

Little bit of this, little bit of that.

I hope ya'll are doing wonderful, & you're all healthy/happy!

HAPPY SUNDAY :)

"Didn’t you realize that your body is a sacred place, the place of the Holy Spirit? Don’t you see that you can’t live however you please, squandering what God paid such a high price for? The physical part of you is not some piece of property belonging to the spiritual part of you. God owns the whole works. So let people see God in and through your body."
