On Monday, December 6, our Mayor and City Council were Sworn-In on a beautiful Inauguration Day in Annapolis. See my Facebook page for a few photos and a video. And the Gala Ball was very well attended at the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel. This has truly been a time to reflect, a time to renew, and a time to reinvigorate. Again, I look forward to continuing to serve you over these next 4 years. I would like to emphasize to everyone that we all try to shop local during this holiday season. So please take another look at and review our list of Ward 3 businesses--right here in our own neighborhood. Be blessed. And be safe. Rhonda |

Based on feedback from customers and addressing the tremendous need in our community, staff at the Discoveries library provide diapers, wipes, menstrual products and other personal hygiene items every Saturday morning for anyone in need. In the first month of service, nearly 100 children were served along with more than 60 adults. The pantry is stocked based on donations from customers and was outfitted and professionally organized courtesy of The Container Store. |

FUN HOLIDAY FACTS "YULE" ENJOY! |
|
|
Did You Know? - Mariah Carey and Walter Afanasieff wrote “All I Want for Christmas Is You” in 15 minutes. Proof that sometimes, you really don’t need to overthink things.
- What people really want to feast upon during the holidays is…potatoes? YES. Roasted potatoes take the top spot for the most popular Christmas dish, followed by mashed potatoes.
- 28 Lego® sets are sold every second during the holiday season.
- Americans spend an average of $1000 on gifts, decorations, and more during the holiday season. That is approximately 50 chia pets which seems like a lot, but somehow also not.
