Glory to Jesus, my MarchMin friends! We praise His wondrous name! One of the testimonies to the "living" nature of God's Word is you can read the same Scripture for years - then one day, seemingly out of nowhere, it "speaks" to you. You see what you never saw, and understanding flows like "living water." Glory to Jesus! So the other day I was reading Luke 4 and I noticed one of those little things that tends to go entirely unnoticed. V.1 describes Jesus as "full" of the Holy Spirit - "pleres" in the Greek... |
But then v.14 speaks of Him "in the power" of the Holy Spirit - "dynamei" - a completely different word describing a completely different, well...Jesus. And what happened between those verses? The temptations in the wilderness. |
My precious friends, may I encourage you today...Keep your eye on "the prize" before you (Philippians 3:12-14). These days the wilderness seems to get more wilderness; the temptations - doubt, fear, fatigue, complacency; giving up, following the crowd, taking matters in our own hands, and and... tug at our human-ness seemingly more than ever. If I can phrase it this way, stand tall and tell it all to take a hike just as Jesus did 2000 years ago. I can promise you - in the promise of God's Word and hope for each of us - you'll come out on the other end "dynamei," glory to Jesus! |

Especially for you who donated to Alison's Choice, the flow of ministry continues to build. Here's our distributor's latest report: "AC is our #4 on TUBI and has over 226K views on our YT channel. You're reaching a lot of people, brother." Alison's Choice on YouTube You know, AC didn't have a big screen release with publicity and red carpets and all... but I've long learned "His ways are not our ways" (Isaiah 55:8)...
AC has been "quietly" viewed by millions across the globe in English, Portuguese, Russian, Croatian, Korean, Spanish (4 mil in Spanish alone!). Given "My Word never returns void" (Isaiah 55:11), just imagine the flow of life and salvation! Here's one recent testimony... |
"I was going into deep depression. I cannot handle my abortion and pray to God every day. So last night I watched Alison's Choice it blew me away. It's not a movie it's God's intervention..." Well done, donors! Glory to Jesus! |
"It's not a movie it's God's intervention" |
Even as I read those words I'm reminded why we fight hard for The Gospel According to John! Even as most film shoots are being canceled on the heels of this latest virus scare... |
...we press forward in confidence that the Lord is "making His way." These two images give you a peek at the process from storyboard concept to our hoped-for location - which is looking more solid each week. We pray and press on, glory to Jesus! |
I know I say it often but thank you beyond thank you to you who give. Let us all keep those words before us - "it's God's intervention." For this is our goal - the Lord intersecting precious lives and revealing Himself in ways that leave them changed forever! Let's keep going strong! Glory to Jesus! |
Praise to Jesus, my friends! We keep our heads held high no matter how weary (Galatians 6:9). With our hands to the plow we don't look back! (Luke 9:62). Be both filled and empowered in God's Spirit and Word, my friend! Seek Him with all your heart and then some! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Glory to Jesus! Bruce Marchiano |
