PRESENTATION


The overall objective of E€OFISH is “to enhance equitable economic growth by promoting sustainable fisheries in the EA-SA-IO region”.  It builds on the achievements, best practices and lessons learned from former programmes such as SmartFish and FISH GOV to enhance sustainable and inclusive management of marine and inland fisheries resources.

TO FIGHT AGAINST ILLEGAL FISHING

 

The Regional Fisheries Surveillance Plan has made it possible to carry out 49 joint patrols spanning 1,228 days in the seas of the Western Indian Ocean between 2007 and 2017.
