Welcoming DFHP's Newest  Representative

Thank you Paul Badame, Assistant Chief of Native Aquatics for the Utah Division of Wildlife, for taking on the responsibility of the Desert FHP's Utah Representative!

I currently serve as Assistant Chief of Native Aquatics for the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources (UDWR). In this capacity, I administer five Recovery Programs, seven conservation programs, and the implementation of Utah's Wildlife Action Plan. The majority of my career has been focused on the Upper Colorado and San Juan Endangered Fish Recovery Programs (1996 - Present). I'm originally from Illinois but have called Utah home for more than 40 years. I attended Utah State University for both undergraduate and graduate studies in Fish and Wildlife Management and Aquatic Ecology. My career dream is to see all four endangered fish of the Colorado basin recovered.
