The sunflowers are still being grown and will be a perpetual showstopper here in Maui. Tim and Cathy( pictured left) took home the treasure. Many art visitors were shocked to know the sunflowers were in fact a local crop now, replacing some of the sugar cane!
 "Coming and Going- From Cane to Sunflowers"  has been a real conversation piece--now enjoying a new home in Dana Point, California!

Walk on the Beach!
"Wailea Reflections" 24 x 36 oil on canvas.  The original was just released to my collectors! It made its debut at the Wailea Beach Resort, Maui Marriott in April. 
This painting was conceived during long walks on the Wailea beaches. Wet sand, soft and fluid juxtaposed with the sharp crisp waves that displace the grains. The sentinel palms oversee the interplay.
