June - August 2017

Here's the skinny on what's new with me

What a great couple of months it's been! I started off June with a trip back to Alaska. We started off with a visit to the Last Frontier Theatre Conference in Valdez. Followed by a whirlwind tour through Fairbanks, Anchorage, Girdwood, Kenai, and Juneau! The trip was filled with lots of wonderful friends and family, plus a brilliant fireworks show for the 4th of July in Juneau.  After returning from my vacation, I immediately went into production for a great role in a Disney film, that as per usual, I can't tell you any details about yet. But it was massively awesome!

From a production standpoint, it was also a banner couple of months. I had two short films finally get released. Plus a feature length horror film released on DVD. I have pivotal, starring or supporting roles in all three films too. I've included links to the videos and descriptions below. I hope you enjoy them!

2017 Official Selection London Short Film Festival

2017 Official Selection Festival du Cinéma Européen

2017 Official Selection Plymouth Film Festival

Longfield Drive (video above) is a dark political Crime Drama set in Oakland USA that looks to explore the sensitive issue of police racial profiling and shootings that plague the continent filmed in the style of one continuous take. An intolerant veteran police officer Dawson (Erick Hayden) is paired up with a novice officer Howard (Harry Eden) as they blow off a domestic disturbance call to take a break at a local diner, only to have to confront a group of unruly African-American teenagers on a cold evening in Oakland, California.

One of the other great things over the last couple months is several of my recent projects have finally been released! Starting with my starring role in The Toymaker. It's now available on DVD and I'm very happy with the results. I play a deliciously evil Nazi who is after and ancient mystical book that can bring inanimate objects to life. But Mr. Toymaker gets his hands on it instead. Let the fun ensue!

Here is a link to the trailer.

Last up is the short film St. Elias.

Here's a quick description:

After a storm brings Efraim’s (Erick Hayden) plane down over the Alaskan wilderness, he manages to get to the relative safety of an abandoned ranger station. Injured and with limited supplies, he is in desperate need of rescue. His only company is a park ranger (Rachel Marquez) who he talks to over a radio. Will Efraim make it out alive? Watch the video above to find out!

That'll wrap things up for now!

Hope you have a great

May & June!
