Your partnership with Westlawn Youth Network (WYN) enables us to attend to the needs of our neighbors.  For the 7th consecutive year WYN has partnered with Covenant Catering to provide a Thanksgiving Day meal to our neighbors.  WYN was able to provide 100 thanksgiving meals.

Meet Martice one of WYN's full time staffers.  WYN partnered with CRU Inner City to pack "Boxes of Love", which are full take home Thanksgiving dinners.  Over 2800 boxes were packed and distributed to Individuals and Families that have never been in a church.  These boxes are not only used to meet a physical need but also a spiritual need.  Boxes were distributed in an effort to be able to share the love of Christ and how that love lead Christ to Calvary.

Because of your partnership, WYN not only provided a sit down Thanksgiving Day meal but also take home meals to many.  One mother told our staff that she saw the "Thanksgiving Dinner" flyer hanging at a local store.  She knew it was a gift from God because she had no food and did not know how she was going to feed her children.

WYN not only provides for the physical needs of our neighbors but spiritual needs as well.  This Thanksgiving meal gives opportunity to share Gods love with our neighbors that do not attend WYN programs.  One such girl was so impressed by the love shown to her that she recognized that her mom needed this God.  Trusting that God would work, this sensitive girl asked WYN staff to pray for her mom who is not in a good place.
