Pause|Nourish| Grow

In every ending, there is a new beginning.

October 2023

Hello, Dear Ones!

Autumn is one of my favorite times of the year, and it is a huge transition on many fronts. We go from the warmth and light of summer to the crisp and waning daylight of fall. Summer break ends, and school resumes, and before we know it, the winter holidays quickly approach.

Although we know that we will cycle through these transitions every season, each year brings its unique highs and lows. Transition times are often a time of growth and discovery, which can bring excitement but can also be daunting.

Remember, you don't have to go through times of transition, growth, and change on your own. Reach out, and let's chat about how coaching can support you through your own transitions and growth. Click now to schedule your free Explore Call!

With Heartfelt Gratitude,

Sarah

3 Reminders To Make The Most Of Autumn

It is officially autumn and we’re seeing signs of fall all around us. Where I live, summer is most definitely over.

I often feel a loss at the end of summer as I lament the end of 15+ hours of daylight, warm evenings and summer adventures. Yet at the same time I look forward to cooler days, cozy clothes and fall flavors because I know that a new summer will return next year.

I know that I cannot change the flow of the seasons and resisting these natural changes elicits big feelings of FOMO and harsh self-criticism about what I didn’t do this last summer.

When I let go of what I love about summer and embrace what I love about fall, I feel grounded and at peace with the reality of what is.

Need help feeling at peace with the seasonal transition? Save these three gentle reminders:

1. This is an Opportunity for New Beginnings

With this change of season, I’m reminded that an ending is an opportunity for new beginnings in many aspects of life.

2. Learn to Let Go: Acceptance is Key

Part of letting go is accepting that this phase of your life is over and allowing yourself to feel the loss, sadness and other emotions that are present.

3. You Can Move Toward a Fresh Start

It might feel daunting to move toward something new and unknown, but rest assured you have actually done it many times in your life, so you are not starting from scratch.

Did you know that coaching helps you to find clarity about what you want to move towards and supports you in building the confidence and courage to actually take your first steps?

Toastmasters for Speaking Professionals

Don’t let the name scare you! Toastmasters for Speaking Professionals(TSP) is a purposeful, supportive, and inspiring niche club for aspiring speakers, professionals, and entrepreneurs committed to developing their speaking and leadership skills.

Usually, I highlight an inspirational person, this month, I am shining the spotlight on my incredible Toastmasters Club and all our members. I joined TSP in the summer of 2020, having never attended a Toastmasters meeting.

It quickly became my favorite and most inspirational meeting during those challenging times. Three years later, I am proud to be the newly elected President of our growing and thriving club!

Our members come from various backgrounds and countries and speak multiple languages. We honor the diversity and learning that comes from our members' experiences.

Believe me, this is not your grandpa's Toastmasters Club!
