2022 County Grounds

Christmas Bird Count

Saturday, Dec. 17, 2022

Hosted by Friends of County Grounds Park

The County Grounds is a major Migratory Bird Route or Flyway for southeastern Wisconsin, following the Menomonee River with supportive forest and field habitat.  Loss of habitat continues to impact County Grounds’ wildlife. In 2021 we had 27 volunteers varying from novice to experienced. They all knew that counting birds is important.

Join us December 17th for a bird census to document bird population and diversity.
