NGPC GLEN HELEN

MAR 5-6

NGPC Round 3 MARCH 5-6 GLEN HELEN, CA. Good effort from our riders through the weekend with all the weather conditions we experienced. Saturday we got some cold rain and then by Sunday the sun was shining and we had dusty conditions.

TREVOR STEWART

4TH

    PRO

Trevor rode great the entire race putting pressure on the rider in front of him for the 3rd place position. It came down to the wire and ultimately would settle for 4th.

In his words:

"For sundays race we had a great track. The weather did us a huge favor and probably going to be one of the better courses for the year. As far as the race went, my speed felt like a win. Comfort played a big part in yesterdays race, although I struggled the first 2 laps, with a crash at the bottom of Yamaha hill. When I picked the bike up the front brake lever went through the hand guard and I didn’t realize it so I slugged up the hill confused and saw it when I got up to the top. It was a bummer because I lost so much time. I charged hard the last 2 laps and made up a lot of time. Mentally I feel very strong. My result didn’t show how I felt yesterday but we’re going in the right direction."

JUSTIN SEEDS

5TH

 PRO 250

Seeds rode a consistent pushing all race long, but the best he could accomplish was 5th after a lengthy battle for the majority of the race for top 5.

In his words:

"Got off to a mid pack start and just couldn’t figure out how to ride that first lap.  After the first lap I figured out how to ride again and was able to push my way up to 5th and see 3rd and 4th not to far away. But unfortunately on the last lap a lap per crashed right in front of me and had no where to go and ran into him. Luckily I was able to get up and stay in 5th to the checkered flag. "

THOMAS DUNN

11TH

PRO 250

Thomas was running 5th on the first lap when he ended up crashing on one of the ridges and would have to climb back up from near last. He is healthy and ready for the next WORCS race in lake Havasu.

In his words:

"Today started off well, was around 5th and was just impatient. Crashed and was only able to get back to 11th. I’m pretty beat up my face is a little swollen and collarbone is sore but will be all good for Havasu. Not the result I was looking for at Glen Helen but I learned a bit and am healthy for the next one."
