Race, poverty, justice and immigration
are not new issues. Over the years,
Westlawn Youth Network’s (WYN) Urban Institute has helped people wrestle with these difficult areas.
WYN’s Urban Institute was founded out of a longing to share WYN’s experiences of living out God’s Kingdom
here in an inter-racial urban environment.
Using lectures, workshops, Urban Vision trips and Internships we look at the historical and current issues of race, poverty, justice and immigration through the lens of the Kingdom of God.
These are not new struggles for our country but the recent increased focus has resulted in people asking us for resources to help them “seek to understand”. In response, WYN would like to introduce “Race Discussion Resources” at our website. Visit our website for suggested books, videos, podcasts & articles to help as you wrestle with these issues. https://www.westlawnyouthnetwork.org/race-discussion-resources
